but anyways, do we have any cosplayers here? we got to, right? D: i'm just curious to see who/what you all like to cosplay as.

i've been doing it for a long time, but it only recently got serious (about two years ago) and started to spend looots o' moolah on my costumes and such. my biggest cosplay as of yet is Russia AKA Ivan Braginski from Axis Powers Hetalia (i have done a panda kigurumi Russia which makes me giggle). I've also done Sebastian Michaelis, the Cheshire Cat (my other huge cosplay), and a lot of little ones from way back. right now I have in the works, Ukraine and punk!England. in the future, I hope to cosplay Ritsuka from Loveless, Peter White from Heart no Kuni no Alice, and a Momo gijinka from Avatar: the last airbender.

anyways, the point of this thread is to share cosplays, experiences, cons, ideas, etc! i'd love to see pictures, i'd post my own but i can't post links yet. )))): SO! and even if you're not a cosplayer, but you dream of doing so, feel free to post! i love to hear from everyone. Very Happy

that's awesome. you got a lot of cosplays! and YES. i am so glad you do APH cause all the peeps i have met from deviantart are like GUH APH IS STOOPID. which makes me sad... sad russia. BUT. this makes me happy. Very Happy

just last christmas I went to Disney's Epcot with my only true love (China) and America. hilarity ensued, it was really fun.\

But yes~some of my cosplays are just casual thoughhhhh. And generally I end up getting picked up at conventions 0w0; like-bridal style. it's funny. XD I'm just kinda tiny so people are like 'GRAB AND MARRY' or something. XD

unfortunately i'm one of those grabby marry someone people. D:

i'm kinda tall and thick bodied so i have that sort of looming presence. XD but uh when people see me as russia (especially if i carry my pipe v-v), they tend to run away in fear. unless they are belarus or ukraine.... and of course america is particularly belligerent. :I

either way, i tend to cosplay as creepy people. or people who are generally malicious. XD

i made my Cheshire Cat from scratch, by hand. all that fur completely broke me, let alone the paint to accurately color it. it's more like a fursuit, but you can subtract pieces to make it from a fullsuit to a partial, or a 3/4 suit.

i don't have a sewing machine so when i cosplay someone else i just buy the main outfit and make all the accessories myself. or build the outfit up from thrift store shopping. i don't really like wearing wigs but i buy them if i have to; usually i will cut and dye my hair, and style it to the character. C:

We have a sewing machine >///< But we also mod things out from the thrift store too sometimes its easier.

My Grell jacket was from the thrift and edited.

i had to look those up except for red scout - i love looking at pics of the entire TF team. but i have to say, red kneesocks looks pretty fcking badass. and laughing man made me lol, cause i love cosplays like that.

also Natsuo from loveless plus a Ritsuka wig plus tail that I can just put with just anything
then some WIPs but I can't seem to get my ass in gear enough to get anything done

that's so neat! i wanted to do a natsuo/youji cosplay with my friend but we never got around to it. :C i love kuroshitsuji so much, i also want to cosplay Finny. hehe, he's so silly. and Pluto for some odd reason - that'd be interesting.

I like to cosplay, though I haven't done much of it.

So.. let's see. Cosplays in order of earliest to latest:

Sexy no Jutsu Lee (Naruto. Yes, I know, he can't do jutsus. Me and my friends got a group of SnJ characters, though. So leave me alone.)
Yuffie (FF7: Advent Children)
Romano (APH)
Finland (APH - He's the easiest for me to cosplay. I don't have to act much.. xD; )
Switzerland (APH)

SO SHORT -sobbu-
I attempted, and failed miserably, at Aisha ClanClan from Outlaw Star. And I have most of the cosplay for Naruto, but never got the wig...

I ALMOST cosplayed Soma from Kuroshitsuji (he's my favorite from the series) but didn't get into the Kuro enough for it.
Recently, though I probably won't do it, I've been toying around with the ides of cosplaying Mikado (DRRR) and Marceline (Adventure Time).
