Up For a Spar?

I'm not entirely used to roleplaying fights, but I'm super excited to, so I'd love a practice partner!
Of course on the side can be general OOC and random socializing between characters and whatnot.

But, with that:
* Please don't godmod!
* I'm not against potty mouth characters, but please don't go insulting me, I'm pretty sensitive ; A ;
* Don't try to kill my characters amg! D:

it's training so gender doesn't matter since he's not aiming for K.O. or anything ♥



Spike scanned his card on the way on, pocketing it in his pouch as he walked past the front desk. He brushed his hood off, scratching the back of his head as he walked up to the screen. His eyed ran through all the available rumble zones in the facility and found one that already had an occupant on stand by. He decided he would join them instead of waiting in a vacant zone. After checking the number one last time, he headed down to the hall to find the zone.

Athena was already waiting on standby, casually surveying her surroundings, judging strategic points and interest points before scanning her eyes over to the door opening, seeing the other walk in. Her shoes clicked against the floor, as she approached a little more, although she was still on high alert for any sudden moves. She quietly analyzed his form, ducking a little, as she introduced herself, "Athena, pleasure to meet you."

Spike looked up at the other in the heavily feather-adorned kigu. "Spike...Hi.." He trained often but he always carried an awkward air about him. "Do...you have any special preferences when it comes to rumbles?"

[Oh that's fine! Take your time! <3]

Athena's feathers ruffled a little at his awkward airs, almost clashing with her overly formal manners. "I have no empirical way to respond to that question, for you are my first opponent. Therefore, if you have any particular requests to convey, please do." She remained even-headed, but behind her lens, her pupils remained wide, almost regarding him with curiosity. "This includes whether or not you wish to fight with weapons, as I am trained in both territories."

Spike rubbed his nose. "My rumble weapon happens to also be a melee weapon, so both are okay...We can do weapons if you want." he put his hand down to not seem rude, looking to the side every once in a while.

"That is perfectly fine. I won't fly in this form, so there is no worry about me using it to my advantage," Athena replied, not particularly bothered by his hand as she grabbed her large spoon with a spear blade on the end of it, making it a little taller than her. "I look forward to fighting you, since I do not want to estimate your abilities. The quiet ones are the most dangerous." She gave a small smile, twirling her weapon above her.

Spike steps onto the flooring of the rumble zone, the feeling to fight filling every cell in his body. He pulled his hood back up over his head comfortably, looking for that pulse that changed him to the thick-legged creature.
Adjusting his jacket, the kangaroo looked back up.

In response, Athena stepped in as well, tugging the lens on her hood down further and letting the rush flow through her, changing her into the masked avian, her talons sharper and larger, her feathers becoming a skirt. Ruffling her feathers one last time, the mask turned back to her opponent, her body leaning down a little to drop into a defensive stance, spoon in her left hand.

Spike tightened his gloves, readying his stance. He knew the answer but asked out of courtesy. "You ready?" Every part of him was ready to fight though he would never show the excitement on his face.
